For the forth  consequetive year, “Operation In As Much”  will bring two neighbor churches, Suffolk Presbyterian and West End Baptist together July 25-27 for a number of community outreach mission projects including

  • continuing the survey of Oak Lawn Cemetery;
  • hosting  a 25-cent per item yard sale,
  • cutting, folding, and sorting paperwork for WEBC’s Book Buddies program, where local youth are tutored in reading.
  • sewing with a group already underway creating quilts for wounded veterans or a neonatal unit.
  • working with a small construction project and
  • providing prayer support for all the above mission projects.

Schedule Friday, Jul  25.  Activities  kick off at 6 pm at SPC with a potluck dinner followed by a short programs for the adults and children.  We will provide friend chicken and drinks. Participants are asked to bring a side dish or dessert. Following the supper, we will sort items for the yard sale. Saturday, July 26. 7 AM  teams are working on the 25 Cent Yard Sale, (at SPC),Cemetery Records and Upkeep, Book Buddies items, and Sewing Quilts. Unable to be with us that weekend? Join the Prayer Team and encourage the work being done in God’s name. Sunday, July 27 10 AM  Joint Worship Celebration, (at SPC).

All donations and proceeds will go to support the Foodbank Back Pack Program in Suffolk.
